The Music of Chopin
I never did see what the big deal with Chopin was, frankly, until this year for festival. My teacher thought it would be a good idea if I played Chopin's Prelude in e minor, Opus. 20, No. 4(?) for festival. I wasn't extremely happy about that, but I went home and practiced quite dutifully. I loved it. But not as much as I loved Prelude in b minor (#6), Prelude in A Major (#7) and especially Prelude in c minor (#20). So, to make a long story short, Chopin's cool, and a list of books with collections of Chopin music in them are on this page. First we have what appears to be an autobiography and a collection of letters that Chopin wrote on top. We'll get those out of the way, then move on to the Preludes and after that the books with other Chopin compositions in them. Have fun!
